Christmas Present Card

Hello wonderful crafting world. Well today I came across a blog that I must have just looked at their sketch challenge a certain way because it inspired me to create a present card. I tried to capture all of the elements they wanted with a little twist. I used a Christmas stamp that I have had for at least 3 years and never used (sad) and tried out my new nestabilities (spelling) for the tag. Side note on that: I got them to cut but not emboss, any idea's why that would be? I also broke into the pack of fancy new Stampin' Up paper that I have had for a few weeks now and not used. Overall I am happy with the outcome!

You should check out their site there is still a bit of time to play along! Scrapbooker's Paradise

I really need to get moving on Christmas cards (grand total of 2 now!) and now that we are getting later in November I feel the Christmas crafting spirit hitting me so hopefully I can make more!

I've been learning to knit since the beginning of the month and it has been an interesting challenge. I'm left handed but decided to just give it a whirl right-handed and its come out alright so far. I am just finishing up my very first knitted project, a scarf and I will post a picture soon.
