Set of 10 cards ... Create A Critter

I finally got a few hours to play with Create a Critter today. I Was at Michael's and found this pack of 10 cards for $1.50. I thought they were so pretty so I went down and picked out 3 shades of matching teal card stock and a nice beige to add some pop and a few accessories (ribbon etc). I got home and just sort of dove in. I decided I wanted to make a set of cute fairly generic cards to have on hand for when I don't have time to make something.

I had my new fancy Punny stamps by My Pink Stamper and a set I picked up at Michael's and those are what I used on all 10 cards.

I decided that I wanted to create all different looks but use all the same material (I bet you could tell that from the picture! :) ) and just one cartridge. So with my card stock, teal ribbon, buttons, grommets, and a bottle of stickles I got to work.

I'm really happy with them and I'm even happier that I have something to put in my drawer to pull out last minute when I don't have time to craft!

  1. What a great idea - I love this cartridge too !

  2. Great job on all those cards!! I wish I'd found a sale on cards like you did! It's amazing to think of what you could make for just a few dollars. Well done!!

  3. These are beautiful cards! TFS :)

  4. Laurie.... gorgeous color combo and the sentiment is a perfect one to showcase on an easel card. Love all your detailing around the image and the ribbon running vertically.
thanks so much for joining the Paper Players this week.
